Lin's Story

Life hmmmm life bio... lets see... left High School, went to college a year, joined the navy, lived in japan 8 years of my 10 yrs and a half., traveled the Pacific, Indian Ocean, Arabian Gulf, Got married, had 2 kids, Got divorced, Was given my kids, left the navy in 1998, started writing/college graduated Indiana University in May of 2003 with a B.S. Bull sh^%&^ degree in Secondary Education (Biology) Couldn't find work as a teacher and took a job as a nurising assistant, loved the hospital scene decided to become a nurse (I had wanted to be a Nurse or doctor since the Navy.. never worked out though until NOW (2005)) couldn't raise the money so I took a job, finally as a teacher, wasn't liberal enough for the union meaning I am a conservative moderate Independent non idealogical voter.. hehe got into to nursing school for this year starting august 22nd and quit teaching, by mutual agreement, still single by the way, cannot wait for nursing school to start, I have nurse practioner in mind in 5-7 years but only 2 years for my second degree for RN and a year more the my B.S. degree in nursing and sometimes I entertain the idea of President of the US or A but geesh I don't know about that one. hehe the biology degree is helping ... no more sometimes enteraining liberal mantra's or young brain washing sessions to listen to in communist science, oops i mean politcal/social science classes to endure, thank God. :) Love laura ingram and Anne Coulter those two ladies showed me the truth and man it hurt to hear it but damn it was refreshing shed all the crap I was taught in school.. shuuu I have learned more in the last five or so years of my life than I did in 16 years of liberally dominated education.. truth distortion is equivalent to enslavement. still raising the kids with a little help from family and loving life,I am still writing and still unpublished. yeah I know I am a little slow but, I am currently working on a fresh project to entertain future readers and hope this time I finish it. :) cya and hope to hear from people. Oh and Shouldn't forget to mention that if it wasn't for God I don't even want to say where I would be right now. Lets just say the old man upstairs has been merciful. :) School hmm what can I say.. I went to Milton High School from my sophmore year in 1982 approximately and graduated in 1986. I dated a beautiful young lady named Kimberly Schleifer in my senior year. I loved her deeply but, we broke up as young couples sometimes do before prom, So being me I skipped the prom and got stoned on the beach.. Canabis was one of God's interesting creations.. Well, hey it was florida, it was the beach and it was a good time plus cry...Expand for more
ing in your beer was harder to come by ;) Asked out Tammy Campbell once... It took all the nerve I had. But, the kicker was I had to cancel due to a car accident.. I was too embarrassed to ask her out again.. That was a stupid move (she was the one that got away.), Got ASKED OUT by Tammy at a football game sometime later, I will never forget it... I was so damn happy about that I could have screamed, but I was engaged to a Japanese girl at the time, so being the good guy that I am I politely (and it took alot for me to do this... I truly liked this girl.) turned her down. yikes boy I screwed up! AGAIN especially since the now ex-wife turned out to not be worth the loyalty and the ink on the marriage certificate and she hadn't half the class of Tammy or Kim for that matter. I have had a few girlfriends since but no prospects for marriage so I am still single and i have custody of my kids ages 12 (girl) and 10 (boy) and life is good.. I have no regrets, live and learn I say. I was a transplant from Indiana and I call Milton my home town so that should say something. My best friends were Pete Compo, Phil Parker, Wesley, David MilIron, etc...we were a "gang of misfits" I haven't seen them or the rest since my bachelor party in 1992. I now have some very good friends from my service in the Navy. My best women friends from Milton High School were Patricia Griffin, Helena Zachowski, Tonya Boren and Judy Valdespino... I loved them all and friends and partners in crime hehe. Some of us grew apart but I have alot of good memories of some very nutty times.. :) Anyway, life was pretty confusing/fast then and it wasn't always fun and games but I still have many fond memories. I hope some of you remember me and check this profile. Send me an email or a note to say hello if not... well thats life to. :) Find God and live by it and I hope I see some of you again.. cya later, Lin. Workplace Worked at a pizza hut, went to Pensacola Junior College for a year, Joined the Navy for 10yrs and 7 months, got out of the navy, single parent (that is a Job all by itself), worked odd jobs through college, became a college graduate unemployed, couldn't find a job that matched my education degree in Biology, worked as a nursing assistant, finally found a job in teaching, quit teaching, now a nursing assistant and back in a Junior college to be a Nurse, dejevue, should have done this the first go around :), future = more school but working as a registered nurse at 20+ an hour with high prosepects of being a doctor or nurse practioner. Military Navy 10 and a Half years and if I can get back in as a Nurse corp officer I am in... if not I did my time and have no regrets.
